Gamma Strategies — Liquidity Mining
The wait is finally over! It may not look like much has changed on the surface, but we have been working diligently behind the scenes to stabilize our user interface and add a liquidity mining feature to our web app.
Uniswap Liquidity Mining Program
Uniswap had announced last week that Gamma Strategies would be one of three liquidity managers that will be distributing Uniswap’s $OP rewards to LPs on Optimism.
We will be begin phase 1 of liquidity mining on November 1st, 12:00 PM EST (4:00 PM UTC) by incentivizing the following pairs on Optimism:
- USDC-DAI 0.01% at an emissions rate of 396.8 OP / day for two weeks
- WETH-USDC 0.05% at an emissions rate of 396.8 OP / day for two weeks
- WETH-DAI 0.3% at an emissions rate of 396.8 OP / day for two weeks
Phase 2 of liquidity mining will start immediately after Phase 1 with the following liquidity mining programs:
- USDC-DAI 0.01% at an emissions rate of 529.1 OP / day for two weeks
- WETH-USDC 0.05% at an emissions rate of 529.1 OP / day for two weeks
- WETH-DAI 0.3% at an emissions rate of 529.1 OP / day for two weeks
Phase 3 will involve distributing 650K OP across the same three pools until incentives run out!
Upcoming Incentive Programs
We have begun a partnership with Rocket Pool for a trial program to incentivize the rETH-ETH 0.05% pool on Mainnet for 4 weeks at an emissions rate of 14.28 RPL / day.
Additionally, we will be distributing 1,666.66 OP / day for 6 months for the OP-WETH 0.3% pair on Optimism!
It’s been a long road to get here, but we are finally here. We envision many more liquidity mining partnerships with protocols to come as Uniswap v3 is the most advantageous DEX to incentivize liquidity on due to its capital efficiency and top-of-mind awareness among crypto traders.
